After well over a two decade career in corporate leadership, Deana Murphy, PhD is now a visionary thought leader and lecturer in the fields of executive wellbeing, emotional exhaustion, and resilience.

A Certified Consulting Positive Psychologist, Certified MentorCoach, Certified Team Performance Consultant, Executive Wellbeing Teacher, Dr. Deana leverages the latest research in positive psychology, neuroscience, behavioral intelligence and emotional resilience to help others develop greater impact and peace of mind in their professional and personal lives.

She founded Dr. Deana, Inc., a boutique consultancy that is dedicated to increasing the flourishing of individuals, organizations, and communities. She maintains a private consultancy under the Lead2Flourish theme.

Dr. Deana has a proven skill for translating positive psychology and neuroscience research and providing practical, actionable, evidence-based advice. Her innovative work has been covered by CEOWorld Magazine, ThriveGlobal, Philadelphia Business Journal, O Magazine, SAFM, HuffPost, WPHT Philadelphia The Rich Zeoli Show, and others.

Dr. Deana earned her Ph.D. with honors in Theological Psychology from Chesapeake Bible College with a focus on personal behavioral application. She continued to explore positive psychology, the science of wellbeing and human flourishing as a post-doctorate student at The Flourishing Center based in New York City.

She visited as a recurring guest lecturer at Temple University along with invitations to keynote and teach in South Africa, Nigeria, London, and New Delhi, India. In 2015 she produced a women’s leadership book titled Resilience, endorse by real estate mogul and shark, Barbara Corcoran. Dr. Deana also authored performance wellbeing essays for the Library of Professional Coaching. Philadelphia Business Journal voted her company one of the top minority firms, and Exceptional People Magazine named her one of their top twenty business icons of 2012.

Dr. Deana believes everyone can be liberated from their controlling egos and exhaustive over-thinking behaviors to flourish with more mental energy to feel fully validated. To this end, she provides science informed strategies through her keynotes, blog, and social media presence.
