It is very simple.
Leaders who hone their behavioral intelligence will lead from their highest selves, do their best work and are capable of modeling this capacity to others.
Start with these concepts to unleash this energy and focus in your world:
1. First be clear about who you are as leader. Define your leadership purpose whether as executive, CEO, business owner, church leader, or parent, etc.
2. Be clear about your leadership voice. Define the style that’s authentic to you. How do you show up and defined in your role?
3. Be clear about what you value. Practice reflecting on what you stand for and what matters to you. Stop following the pattern of others. From this you might discover that your values aren’t that obvious to you. Reflect.
We must challenge old ideas about what it means to lead. I like to call this rewriting our leadership stories so that wellbeing and flourishing are the priority.
